Job description:
The Multi-site Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of cleaners in a 24/7 account and ensuring their account up to Ultra Shine’s standards. We are looking for an individual that can multi-task, available to cover day and night shifts and able to commute between three properties.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of organization and time management skills. They are a self-starter. A Multi-site Supervisor needs to have great interpersonal skills and be confident in dealings with internal and external customers. The successful Multi-site Supervisor will not be shy in communicating, coaching, and holding their staff accountable. A successful candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
Providing client liaison
- Assist our managers in listening and responding to client needs
- Maintain relationships with property managers, building operators and building tenants
Responding to client needs
- Accurate assessment and delivery of services
- Follow-up with managers and set up independent evening quality audit
- Assist in providing periodic services
- Proficiently clean clients to meet both company and client standards
- Coordinate project works through Special crews
- Follow up and correct any deficiencies which may arise through QA or complain
- Manage day to day cleaning operations in a 24-7 environment
Health & Safety
- Ensuring the health and safety of workers and clients remains a top priority
- Ensure daily field assessments are up to date
- Perform random documented safety inspections and meeting
- Ensure all necessary janitor room posters and most current postings are visible
- Certify that equipment is safe to use and in good working condition
- Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled with the correct content inside
WCB and Modified Work
- Ensure WCB and incident reports are submitted to People and Culture immediately
- Liaison with People & Culture and staff on any modified work duties
- Looking after all financial aspects of the contracts
- Labour costs through timekeeping in eHub
- Assess and provide training for efficiencies
- Supply and inventory control
- Monitor and adjust labour on vacancy
- Monitor work tickets to ensure all costings are in before approval
Managing staff
- Assist managers in hiring key staff
- Deploy and train staff on the use of the latest cleaning technology while providing instructions and supervision where necessary
- Update staff on new technology, chemicals, processes and materials
- Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their role
- Support in maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff that constantly strives for excellence in cleanliness and service
- Supervise all employee work on assigned sites to make sure it meets the company and client standards
- Make sure all employees follow company standards by constantly coaching and redirecting performance
- Product and revise task sheet as necessary
Experience:
- Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Compensation: Salaried $38,000 - $40,000
